The three-day training program on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) was successfully completed today, marking the conclusion of sessions held from 25–27 March 2026. The program brought together 25 participants from the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICBL), with the objective of strengthening their knowledge and practical understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and compliance requirements.
Over the course of the training, participants actively engaged in discussions on key areas such as customer due diligence, suspicious transaction reporting, and risk-based approaches to managing financial crimes. The inclusion of practical case studies further enhanced their ability to apply the concepts in real-world scenarios.
The successful completion of the program reflects the commitment of the participants and the institution towards reinforcing effective measures to prevent and combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
