FITI successfully concluded a review meeting of the long-term flagship progamme- Junior Associate of FITI (JA-FITI) today. The meeting was attended by the expert representatives from the central bank and financial institutions.

The main objectives of the review was to update the data, information, and concepts in the courseware to ensure that the flagship programme is relevant, current and reliable. The revised content reflects the latest regulations, policies, standards and practices, and trends in the financial sector. The review also focused on updating the laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of financial institutions. Additionally, the review covered general principles and practices of Bhutan’s financial sector as well as accounting and financial standards. Besides, the assessment methods were reviewed to ensure that the assessment tools and techniques are sufficient to evaluate the learning outcomes and overall goals of the programme.
